Do You Want To Get Really LOST?

I just found this post (via sfsignal) that explains the last episode of LOST. I don’t think I have ever seen a more in-depth analysis of a TV show, EVER!

It quite frankly made me feel even more LOST.

Anyway, check it out if you want to try and figure out what is happening on the island…

What Have I Been Watching?

Besides American Idol and the Super Bowl, I have not been watching a lot of TV lately.

I did manage to watch two episodes of Chuck last week. Chuck is possibly my favorite show on TV (it’s a close call between Chuck and Heroes).

I also watched LOST, which was a really good episode. I don’t think I like the glimpses into the future, but other than that it’s been fun to watch.

I have been watching Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice and while I enjoy it, the people on the show seem to have less desire to win at all costs than the normal apprentices.

Anyway, I have been rather busy lately, so I might start doing weekly round-ups of shows that I watch, instead of discussing each show separately.

Lastly, I am glad that it looks like the writer’s strike will be over soon. I would hate to see reality TV be the ONLY thing on TV the rest of the year.

When Will Your Favorite TV Show Go On Strike?

When will the writer’s strike affect your favorite show?

TV guide is keeping a running list of tv shows that shows how many episodes have aired, how many have been produced, and how many are left. Click here to check out the list.

I read that LOST might go on hiatus until 2009, because of the writers strike. That would really suck. As for my favorite shows:

Heroes has 4 episodes left, Chuck has 6 left, Numbers has 4 left and Jericho has 7 left.

I understand why they are striking… it makes sense, but I really hope the writer’s strike ends soon.

How many episodes does your favorite tv show have left before it goes on strike?

Michael Is Coming Back To LOST

Woohooo! ABC announced that Michael (Harold Perrineau) will be back on LOST next season.

No word on whether or not Walt will be back. I am hoping we see both of them back. Of course, they could just use Michael in the flash forwards that they started in the last episode of LOST. I personally hope he comes back to the island to help the Losties get off the island.

I guess we will know when the show starts back up…

Flash Forward - Flash Bakwards - I don’t Care Since I Have To Wait TEN MONTHS

Buddy TV is reporting that Season 4 of Lost will contain both flash forwards and flash backs. Well quite frankly I don’t care, since I won’t be able to watch ANY new episodes until February of 2008. I don’t want to wait ten freaking months to see the next episode of LOST.

Oh well… at least we get to watch LOST again, unlike Jericho.

Season 3 Finale Of LOST Was Full Of Surpises

Last night’s season finale of LOST was really good. Even though I like Heroes better than LOST, I thought the season finale of LOST was definitely better than the Heroes season finale.

The one thing that really bothered me was Charlies death. It really didn’t seem like he had to die. Other than that, it was a really good way to end the season.

Ben had a bad case of “the boy who cried wolf” syndrome. It would appear that Ben is telling the truth this time. So is Ben really as bad as he appears or is he trying to save the island and the people on it?

The flash forward really caught me off guard. During all of the flashbacks I kept thinking that there was something a bit off, but I couldn’t place my finger on what was wrong. Then in the final flashback I realize it’s a flash-forward into Jack’s future and I was SO LOST! Wow, what a way to end the show!

What did you think of the LOST season finale?

Is Locke Really Dead?

I just got around to watching LOST and wasn’t surprised by the ending. You want to know why?

Earlier today, I was sitting at my computer and brought up Yahoo.com. One of the top stories read, “Is Locke Really Dead?” I was like, what the… Uggh! So, I kind of knew ahead of time that Locke was going to be in a life or death situation at the end of the show.

What makes this even more funny, is I went over to my favorite LOST Forum (lost-forum.com) to check out what people were saying about it. I starting reading a forum post and half way through the post someone compares Locke being killed to the person who was killed on Jericho. Guess what?

I haven’t gotten around to watching Jericho yet and now I know who died on it! Double Ugghh!

What made it even more hilarious was that before watching tonight’s show, I told my wife Jill that I wanted to watch LOST tonight and Jericho tomorrow because I knew a secret about the show. To which she responded, “Maybe we should watch Jericho, so that you don’t find out a secret about Jericho before we watch it.”

I responed by telling her there was NO WAY that would happen.

BOY WAS I WRONG! Teaches me for not taking Jill’s advice.

Long story short, Do you think Locke is dead? They can’t really kill him off, can they?

LOST - Left Behind

This week’s episode of LOST, “Left Behind”, was much better than last week’s episode. I liked what Hurley did to Sawyer.

The main question I have for next week is:

“Why dont’ they go back to the others abandoned houses and live there?”

It sure seems like it would make sense for the Losties to head back to the village and live in houses. That way they will be protected from the black smoke monster and have better living conditions.

It will be interesting to see if they address that at all.

Anyway, if you missed the preview for next week’s episode, here it is (it looks good):

Expose Was The Worst Episode Of LOST Ever

Did you catch last night’s episode of LOST. If not, don’t read this post.

My goodness, what a horrible, horrible ending to the show. Yuck! I kind of new it was coming, but it was without a doubt the worst episode of LOST I have seen.

Now, it was very interesting until the end of the show. The end just ruined it for me. I hate creepy things like that. Even if it turns out they both live, I hated that ending.

LOST is probably still one of my ten favorite shows, but it is no where near as good as Heroes in my opinion. Quite frankly it isn’t even in the same league as Jericho.

Quick Note About Tonight’s Episode of LOST - 3×14 Expose

Tonight’s episode of LOST (titled “expose”) looks to be very good. I saw the preview for it the other night and they make it look like Sun Kwon is going to kill off Sawyer. Sawyer is my favorite character on the show. They can’t kill him off, right?

I assume they are just trying to make it look that way for marketing purposes. I guess we will find out tonight…

If you haven’t seen the preview you can check it out here:

Why Heroes is Better Than Lost

I watched Lost last night and really enjoyed it, but…

I like Heroes WAY better than LOST!

On LOST I feel like we never learn anything about what is really going on. Occasionaly we get clues, but for every clue there are 10-20 more questions. LOST is a never ending series of questions that may or may not get answered at the end of the show (I doubt that they will answer them all).

Heroes raises many questions, but many questions get answered. You always have a feeling like answers are coming soon and in many cases they do.

In other words, trying to figure out the answers on LOST is frustrating, on Heroes it is not so frustrating.

What do you think? Do you like Heroes better than LOST or vice versa?

LOST Planning End Game

I just read on Yahoo that LOST producers are in talks with ABC about how and when to end the show.

Quite frankly, as much as I like the show, I think it’s time for it to end. I don’t want to be LOST anymore…

Heroes Will Be Back January 22 2007

Here is the preview for the re-start of Heroes on January 22:

The good news is that I won’t be missing an episode of Heroes while I am in Florida, like I will when the Apprentice starts back up. The bad news is we have to wait until January 22 to see another episode. At least it’s a shorter wait than the wait for LOST

ABC To Protect LOST, WooHoo!

ABC announced that they will be moving LOST into the 10pm time slot once it returns. So LOST won’t be competing with American Idol.

WooHoo! That is great news in so many ways. I enjoy American Idol, I enjoy LOST. If push came to shove, I would choose American Idol over LOST. This way I don’t have to.

I found this on Variety’s site. However, there was some bad news in the article…

The absence of the last five episodes of Day Break in ABC’s lineup, opened up some questions about it’s fate. Which is too bad, since I enjoy watching Day Break.

LOST’s replacement “Day Break” is…

I just wanted to make a quick note about the new ABC series called “Day Break”. It is replacing LOST during LOST’s hiatus. When I saw the previews I thought,

“Uggh… groundhog day the series???”

I have been hesitant to write about it, because I keep thinking to myself,

“This can’t really be good, can it?”

So far, Day Break has been quite good and has managed to keep me very interested in the plot and the characters. One thing I find kind of odd is that while the main character “Brett Hopper” always maintains any injuries he has from day to day (the same day), other characters don’t. I wonder why that is?

Also, at first the days were staying the same, but now the things he does affects the next day.

What do you think of “Day Break”?
