At the beginning of the show, I didn’t think America’s player (Eric) had much of a chance to win, but I am starting to think otherwise. Eric won POV last night on Big Brother 8 and showed that he is capable of winning a competition. However, he didn’t use his power of veto. After hearing Danielle and Dick talk about their need to get rid of Jessica, it’s really too bad Eric didn’t use POV.

The good news is that it seems like Danielle and her Dad Dick’s relationship has gotten somewhat better. I am happy to see that. Also, Eric and Jessica are becoming more than good friends, which is also good to see.

So who do you think will go home? Amber or Zack? I think Amber is more of a threat and so she will go home. We shall know soon enough…

Last night, Danielle won the power of veto (POV) competition and then pulled Ameber off the block. Amber gave up a TON to Danielle. I don’t think Danielle is going to want Amber to go home anytime soon, which could mean trouble for America’s player (Eric). Danielle then put up Jen for eviction, because Danielle really wants Jen out of the Big Brother house.

Eric completed yet another task, earning him another ten thousand dollars. Eric had to give Jessica his childhood toy (made up by Big Brother). This time America was nice to Eric and let him do something nice for Jessica.

It was really cool that the two finalist in the POV competition got a special surprise trip out of the house to go to New York and comptete on the game show Power of 10. It will be interesting to see how they did.

Nick went home tonight on Big Brother and from what I understand Danielle won the HOH competition. The HOH competition was one of those long ones, that you don’t get to actually watch on TV. According to the forums, it looks like Danielle won Head of Household (HOH).

Nick seemed a bit surprised to find out that Eric was America’s player. As Nick said, “Expect the unexpected”.

Anyway, I wonder what the chances are of Danielle putting Jen on the block?
