Which Actor From Alias Would You Like To See On Heroes?

WARNING: This post contains some Heroes spoilers.

There has been a lot of interesting news about Heroes since the season finale. My absolute favorite rumor is that David Anders is in final talks with Heroes to play a new character named Kane. David Anders played Mr. Sark on one of my old favorite tv shows “Alias”. The rumor is that he will be playing a man who has lived to be 1000 years old.

Greg Grunberg (Eric Weiss on Alias) starred last year on Heroes as officer Parkman. Once they ad Sark (David Anders), all they need to do is add Jennifer Garner (Syndey Bristow), Michael Vartan (Vaughn), Carl Lumbly (Dixon), Kevin Weisman (Marshall), and Victor Garber (Jack Bristow). Then the transistion will be complete.

Yes, I know, I know, I left out one of the major characters from Alias.

Here’s the deal…

I am tired enough of Sylar, I can’t imagine having to put up with Arvin Sloane (Ron Rifkin) on the show. Ok, maybe they could make him into a good Hero, but every episode I would be just waiting for him to turn into Sylar 2 - the man who eats people brains while terrifying the world with Rambaldi devices. Nope, I could do without Arvin Sloane on the show.

Which actor/character from Alias would you want to see appear on Heroes?

Interview with Hayden Panettiere of Heroes

Cool Interview with Hayden Panettiere (Claire Bennet of Heroes). Unfortunately, she doesn’t tell us who is coming back next season, but I will be writing a spoiler post on that soon enough…

Jericho in July!

Jericho re-runs will be starting up on July 6th. Jericho was definitely one of my favorite shows this past season. All of you who missed the original episodes can check them out in July.

The second season of Jericho will start up in the fall. Thanks to Jane (Jericho Monster) for the update.

Tim Kring Signs Two Year Deal With NBC

Digital Spy reported yesterday that:

Heroes creator and executive producer Tim Kring has signed a new deal with NBC Universal Television Studio.

The two-year deal covers Kring’s involvement as executive producer on Heroes and the Heroes: Origins spinoff. It is also understood that Kring will develop new projects during the term of the pact.

That is really good news for Heroes fans. We know it’s being kept around a while, but this deal shows that NBC is probably committed to at least another two years of the show.

Cool…

Jericho BACK!!

Way to go Jericho fans!! CBS has reversed its decision to cancel Jericho and will be bringing the show back next year.

So You Think You Can Dance - Season 3

I haven’t been watching much TV since Heroes and Lost finished up their seasons, but my wife Jill has been watching two show that I plan on talking about (both of which I have been watching bits and pieces of).

The first show I am going to talk about is “So you think you can dance”. It’s a pretty fun show to watch. I haven’t seen all the performances so far, but here are a few videos of people I enjoyed watching dance. I couldn’t find my favorite performance, but I am sure he will make it far.

First is someone from Houston Texas (my current home town). Phillip Chbeeb put on one of my favorite performances. It was pretty crazy looking:

Benji (my favorite from last year) danced with his sister, Lacey Schwimmer, in her audition. She is really, really good. In fact, she might be a better dancer than Benji:

This clogging dance by Brandon Norris was really amazing to me:

I remember Hokuto Konishi from last year. I am glad he got his work visa:

These two (Kurt Myers and Dia Beck) weren’t the greatest dancers, but the hiccuping and winking were funny:

Tony Velez had one of the most amazing moves (to me):

Janet Bombard did a really nice job of dancing and what was even more amazing was that she has a prosthetic arm:

Bryan Gaynor cracked me up and the fact that he was doing the most he could with what he had was inspirational. He can’t raise his arm over his head, because of scoliosis. Check out his video:
