Ah Man, Don’t Tell Me They are Killing Off Horned Rim Glasses Guy

Heroes was good tonight, but don’t tell me Sylar is going to kill off Claire’s dad (aka. Horned Rim Glasses Guy). Claire’s dad has grown on me over the course show and I really hope they don’t kill of his character.

Anyway, I am kind of busy, so I am not going to write much about Heroes tonight, except to say,

“Tim Kring, Please keep Claire’s Dad alive!”

What did you think of the show? Do you want Claire’s dad to die?

Did you Know Claire (Hayden Panettiere) Could Sing?

Check it out, seventeen year old actress Hayden Panettiere (Claire from Heroes) has a new music video for Cindarella 3. Pretty cool!

Thanks to John at sfsignal for the news.

Actor Eric Roberts to Join Heroes Cast

I just read over on Heroes the Series that:

According to Michael Ausiello over at TVGuide.com, Eric Roberts, the brother of Oscar winner Julia Roberts, will be joining the cast of “Heroes” in February as an associate of Horned Rimmed Glasses man.

My money is on Eric playing Linderman. It certainly seems like it’s time for Linderman to show his face in the series.

Do you think Eric will play Linderman or some other character?

My Favorite Quotes from Heroes GodSend

I am so glad Heroes is back on TV. It so much fun to watch.

Anyway, last night I found a lot of the dialogue to be amusing so I thought I would share some of my favorite quotes from Heroes - Chapter 12: Godsend:

Matt Parkman tell’s Claire’s dad, “I am not going to stop until I figure this out.” and Claire’s Dad says, “Good luck with that.”

The Haitian says to Claire, “What you can do, what I can do — that is God. Respect it accordingly.”

Hiro says he is going to steal the sword and Ando says, “Stealing isn’t exactly part of the Bushido code.” Hiro’s reply made me laugh, “It’s one antique. If I don’t have my power, this museum will explode anyway. It’s a good deal for them.”

Hiro says to Nathan, “You are flying man!” and moves his hand high in the air like it is flying. Then Nathan says to keep it down. So Hiro repeats his hand motion, only much lower. You have to see the video to get the full effect, so here it is:

PS. I went to the the website on the card that Claire’s dad gave to Mohinder www.PrimaTechPaper.com, and it’s fairly boring. I also called the phone number, 1-800-PRIMA16 number and it doesn’t do anything exciting that I can tell. If you happen to know the invitation code for applying for a job on the website or the access code they ask for on the phone feel free to let me know.

Video Of The New Hero Hana Gitelman That You Might Have Missed

Last night, during the show Deal or No Deal there was a quick preview of one of the new Heroes. This happened before the show Heroes aired. So, if you missed it, here is the preview video for Hana Gitelman (the new Hero in the last 4 Heroes comic books):

NBC Heroes Set To Make Over Their Website

I just read on sfsignal that NBC is going to make over their website today.

It sounds like they are adding even more cool stuff. I love their online comics and can’t wait to see the changes. Albeit, I am looking forward to tonight’s episode even more.

You can read more about the online changes to Heroes on CNET.

George Takei (Sulu) to Play Hiro’s Dad

I just read over on Scifi.com that George Takei (Sulu from the original Star Trek) will play the father of Hiro Nakamura on Heroes. Takei will be speaking Japanese in the show and so far has filmed three episodes of Heroes. That will bring yet another father-child relationship into the story. It should be interesting.

Anyway, the interview with George Takei is a fairly good read for us Heroes fans. Click here to go check out.

Heroes Starting Back Up Next Monday, Be Sure To Read…

Heroes, the winner of the People’s choice award for best drama (and my favorite tv show), is coming back on TV next Monday January 22. I am very excited about the show coming back. NBC has put up some never before seen footage of the upcoming show. It looks pretty exciting.

Be sure to read the last 5 comic books before the show starts. That way you can be up to date on the offline story and will learn Hana’s story.

American Idol Starts Tonight!

American Idol is one of my favorite TV shows and it starts tonight… Wooohoo!

We (mostly Jill) cover it on our American Idol blog, so head over there to keep up with the latest news from American Idol.

LOST Planning End Game

I just read on Yahoo that LOST producers are in talks with ABC about how and when to end the show.

Quite frankly, as much as I like the show, I think it’s time for it to end. I don’t want to be LOST anymore…

Studio 60 is here to stay– for now

In the fall, there were rumors going around that Studio 60 was going to be cancelled. I didn’t address them here because, frankly, it depressed me. I LIKE Studio 60. I think it’s funny. I like the acting. I didn’t want it to be cancelled.

So, imagine my delight when I visited NBC’s website and saw it still listed there. Then, I searched and, sure enough, found out that it has been picked up for at least the rest of the season. Hopefully, the ratings will pick up, and it will be around a lot longer than that. But at least I have nine more episodes to look forward to.

Heroes Golden Globe Award Nominations

This is a better late than never story…

I just read over at Heroes Wire, that the Golden Globe Award nominations were announced in mid-December. Heroes is up for two awards:

  1. Masi Oka (Hiro), was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a series, mini-series, or movie made for television.
  2. Heroes the TV show itself was nominated for Best Drama.

Pretty cool. I am a bit surprised by the Masi Oka nomination, but I really like his character and I am very happy for him.

Heroes Wire also mentions some spoilers for episode 12 and the series. I am sorry I read them, I prefer to be surprised by what happens. Anyway, they are interesting spoilers, just read them at your own risk.

Well, it’s off to Florida for me…

Heroes Comics Are Still Being Released

I just noticed that NBC has been putting out new Heroes comics even though the show is off the air. I just caught up on them. I think it is cool that new comics are being released even though the show is on hiatus.

In the comics, we get introduced to a new Hero named Hana Gittleman a code breaker for the Israeli Mosad. I really like her super power. It’s pretty cool.

Click here to catch up on your Heroes comic book reading.

PS. We are going to be on vacation in Disney World next week, so posting will be very sporadic.
