Last night on Jericho, Dale murdered Mitchell. It made me wonder…
Did Dale murdered Gracie as well?
Dale was angry with her. Maybe he knew about the will. Maybe there are clues on Dale’s Myspace page. We don’t know much about Dale, but he does have a chip on his shoulder. Even though it sure seemed like Mitchel did it, I think Dale might have been the murderer.
Last night’s show had a GREAT cliffhanger ending!
I wonder if Hawkins is really a changed man and that is why he is telling a lie about being compromised, or if he is lying because…
HE IS THE TRAITOR!
I think it’s because Hawkins is the traitor. I bet Hawkins was somehow pulled into the conspiracy to nuke the government, then he stole one of the nukes, thus becoming a traitor. He is keeping in touch with the bad guys, so that he can try to stop them at some point. Which would mean…
The bad guys are coming to Jericho.
At least, that is my current theory on his story.
Jake on the other hand remains a mystery.

* * *
How did you get that Dale murdered Gracie? Mitchel confessed AND tried to set up Jonah before it was common knowledge. I think you’re reaching on this one.
Mitchell confessed to Dale that he murdered Gracie, to scare Dale. What if Dale did it and killed Mitchell, because he IS capable of murder?
It may be a reach, it is plausible.
Dale couldnt have done it. Jonah told the story of how Mitchell told him that Gracie was dead and when Jonah asked who did it, Mitchell said “You did” then slashed his arm with the murder weapon to frame him.
So Id say its not possible that Dale killed Gracie.
Dale only snapped after Mitchell threatened him and he found the gun Gracie kept at the store. It would be a likely assumption that Dale would know once Mitchell found out he told the Anderson and the Greens about it Mitchell would carry out his threat.
As far as Hawkins goes, I suspect his group are people within some intelligence agency who found out about the attacks after they stopped the New York City bombers. After realizing it was too late to stop the attack seeing as there was likely no way of stopping all of the bombers before “Zero Hour” they decided to try and save their families - the meeting place was to be a place selected by Hawkins. Hawkins in Walls of Jericho was very angry with Victor stressing they were only supposed to save their families. Victor tried to save more people than that and paid for it with his life. Ive seen something like it on several message boards, sounds reasonable to me. Hard to believe group inside the US would blow up so many cities. If you wanted to overthrow the government just blow up Washington DC. Seems like most of those killed were just ordinary civilians - military and backup government bunkers are likely fully intact - places like Cheyenne Mountain and Mount Weather (officials rotate in and out of there to insure survival of the government). I also find it hard to believe a conspiracy of this size, which would take months or years to plan, would go undetected by the media and that someone wouldnt have blown the whistle. How many Americans would think blowing up so many cities is a good idea? How would you recruit people to participate? All you would need is one person think its a bad idea and blow the whole operation. It had to be some group from outside the US that carried out the attacks - perhaps using stolen Russian nuclear material, which is notoriously unsecure - while US stockpiles are the most heavily guarded in the world (people would notice several hundred pounds of the stuff if it was missing)
I think my thoughts on Dale were a bit far out there.
They went after all those cities because of the fact the cities targeted are Internet Hub cities. If you take down the Internet you take down a major for of commication. Taking down communication is the first thing you do when trying to take over a country (or so I am told)…
