Heroes - Chapter 9 - Homecoming was Very Predictable

Heroes is often very predictable. Don’t get me wrong I love Heroes, but at times it is predictable. Here is a list of all the things from last night’s episode that I predicted before they happened:

1. Claire would be nominated Homecoming queen, despite being unpopular.
2. The password on the computer would be Mohinder’s sister’s name.
3. Claire would sneak out her window to go the homecoming.
4. Peter would apprently die at the end, but would be fine because he picks up Claire’s powers (predicted this last week when I saw the preview).
5. Micah would try to call his mom.
6. Simone had a photo of the painting, so there was nothing to worry about when Nathan covered it with black paint.
7. Sylar would kill the wrong cheerleader
8. Peter would be mistaken for Sylar and captured by the police

There were probably other predictable moments, but those are the moments I recall predicting last night (and no I don’t have Isaac’s power of precognition).

Now for some of the things that I found interesting (less predictable) from last night’s show…

Hiro never came back from trying to save the girl. From the looks of it, she was still dead. Where is he? My guess is that he was still trying to fix things. I really hope they don’t start spinning off parallel universes with his adventures, because it might get confusing.

We got to see how powerful Eden McMcain’s superpower is. Mr. Bennet sent Eden to ambush Sylar. I thougth it was pretty cool the way Eden and the Hatian captured Sylar. What are they going to do with him? It should be interesting to find out.

Peter got arrested at the end of the show. I assume that we will get to see him and Parkman together next week. That could become a very interesting thought reading exchange from both of them.

Some people around the net are predicting that the character with the radioactive power is going to be involved in the nuclear explosion. That makes sense, we shall see if that is what happens or not.

I have one other thing to discuss, but I am going to write about that in a separate post.

I am really looking forward to episode 10. If you missed the preview for next week’s episode here is the preview from Canada (different than the preview we saw in the states) and the preview from the US is below it.
